1. Font de la Cascade

4. El Món Neix and Cada Besada

El Món Neix en Cada Besada, meaning “The World Born in Every Kiss”, is a colourful mosaic by Joan Fontcuberta. Composed of thousands of small photographs of Barcelona’s inhabitants, this artwork symbolises love and unity. It is an inspiring stop not to be missed during your stay in the city. Located near the Plaça d’Isidre Nonell (near Barcelona Cathedral), this mosaic is a great place for a fun photo. You can also enjoy a drink on the terraces near the wall.

5. Mercat de la Boqueria

Explore the Mercat de la Boqueria, one of the most iconic markets in the world, located on the famous La Rambla. Casa Milà, with beautifully undulating facades is one of the street’s standout buildings. Casa Batlló, with its colourful mosaics and organic shapes, looks like a fairytale house. Both buildings are worth a visit, not only for their unique appearance, but also for their extraordinary interiors. These icons of modernist architecture offer an insight into Gaudí’s creativity and vision.

7. Sagrada Familia

No visit to Barcelona is complete without a stop at the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece. This basilica has been under construction since 1882, but they expect to finally finish construction in the coming decades! Tip: On Sundays, you can attend mass for free. Just make sure you get here on time, as it can get quite crowded.
